Salary Equality Report

The Pay Transparency Report was prepared exclusively by the Ministry of Labor, based solely on the CBO (Brazilian Classification of Occupations), without considering job titles, responsibilities, or other role-specific details.

SMBC reaffirms its commitment to building a fairer, more inclusive, and sustainable work environment. To that end, we have implemented a series of strategic initiatives:

Organizational Structure Aligned with the Market
We have reviewed and updated job descriptions and CBO classifications to ensure clarity in roles and responsibilities. This action strengthens strategic people management, aligns with best practices in the financial market, and ensures that gender equity criteria are embedded at every level of the organizational structure.

Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion
We value diversity and respect for differences. Our initiatives include:

  • Celebrations of Black Awareness Day and International Women’s Day;
  • Panels on LGBTQIA+ topics;
  • Discussion circles and awareness campaigns on unconscious bias and equal opportunity;
  • Initiatives to promote gender equality at all levels of the organization.

Inclusion of People with Disabilities (PwDs)
We have increased the representation of people with disabilities by focusing on:
Accessibility;

  • Inclusive recruitment;
  • Full integration into the workplace;
  • Ensuring equal opportunities, including gender equity among people with disabilities.

Leadership Development
We train our leaders through structured programs that develop essential skills for managing people and achieving results. Performance management workshops reinforce a culture of continuous feedback and professional development, with an emphasis on building diverse leadership committed to gender equity.

Transparent Compensation Policy
We adopt a merit-based and transparent compensation policy, with special attention to gender pay equity, promoting fairness, recognition, and engagement. We monitor compensation indicators to ensure there are no unjustified disparities between men and women in equivalent roles.

Strengthening Female Participation
We encourage female leadership in the financial market through:

  • Active participation in forums and events;
  • Sponsorship of gender equity initiatives;
  • Strengthening women’s support networks;
  • Creating growth and visibility opportunities for women in leadership positions
