Checking Account:
We offer full assistance with checking account opening (in local currency), electronic statements, and transaction viewing. Our customers can in real time, analyze and enter their payments and receipts securely and efficiently, using our Internet Banking system E-Moneyger, for:

  • Sending and receiving wire transfers (TEDs)
  • Executing transactions from the same FI (between holders of SMBCB accounts)
  • Payments of bank slips (clearing form)

Entering payments and receipts in batch, through the file transmission tool CNAB.

E-Moneyger® is a global tool disclosed by Banco Sumitomo Mitsui Brasileiro S.A. for its customer’s access via internet that offers convenience, efficiency and security features. In addition, financial positions and funds transfer transactions can be monitored and accessed from anywhere in the world at any time, by simply connecting to our E-Moneyger® at Banco Sumitomo Mitsui Brasileiro S.A. website.

Below are the Cash Management products that Banco Sumitomo Mitsui Brasileiro S.A.’s customers can easily work with online access to E-Moneyger®.

The Bank utilizes a range of measures and technologies to protect the data

  • Only authorized and registered users can access data.
  • "Two factor authentications" requires all users to input a password and a one-time-code from a security token to logon to the website.
  • Enhanced website validation assures our users that they are accessing the legitimate E-Moneyger® site.
  • To further instill confidence that users are accessing the legitimate E-Moneyger® site, a personal message can be chosen after first time logon which is displayed before the password is entered.
  • End-to-end data 128-bit encryption using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
  • Unauthorized access prevented by firewall technologies.
  • 24x7 system monitoring.

What can be done to enhance security?

Banco Sumitomo Mitsui Brasileiro uses a range of measures to secure the products and customers’ data, but there are important steps that can be taken by customers to help control risks when conducting business on-line.


PC Security

  • Control physical access to the PC and environment to prevent unauthorized persons from using the PC. 
  • Use screen savers and 'lock' your PC whenever it is left unattended. 
  • Use strong passwords that are difficult to guess and change them frequently. Do not disclose them or write them down where others may find them. 
  • Do not leave the security token unattended in an unsecured location and do not store it with the PC. 
  • Be sure to use up-to-date virus protection software on the PC. 
  • Make sure that the correct address of Banco Sumitomo Mitsui Brasileiro S.A. is typed on the web bar before attempt to login. 
  • Be careful when downloading programs or opening e-mail attachments from unknown sources.

E-Moneyger® can be accessed via standard internet connection from the PC, using widely available internet browsers detailed below:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 (or higher version)
  • The browser must support 128-bit encryption and SSL version 3 (or higher)
  • IBM compatible PC (Pentium equivalent or higher specification)
  • Broadband connection is recommended
